I believe passionately that this mode of transport is the way we all should travel, whether that be for fun, fitness or commuting! I aim to educate the UK on the benefits of kick scooting and love nothing more than speaking to people at an event, or being stopped out on a ride to answer 'what on earth are you riding?!'. I knew there was a gap in the market for an honest, friendly link between quality kick scooter manufacturers and the UK population and I have spent every minute of the last 3 years building Fun On 2 Wheels in to the friendly and supportive kick scooter shop it is today.

Having ridden a huge selection of kick scooter models and hand picking the ones to list on the website, I love guiding people to their perfect model and hearing back from them afterwards. Seeing people light up when they ride a scooter for the first time is the best part of running FO2W. My favourite rides are those with friends or family - with a great tea room on route of course!

David was the person who introduced me to kick scooters and was the inspiration behind Fun On 2 Wheels. While he always says he is not part of the business but he is happy to help, I couldn't disagree more! He is a constant source of inspiration and encouragement to me and many others on their scooting journey and you will often hear him say 'just keep kicking!'. Having previously worked as a Bike Technician, David is hugely knowledgeable and has a memory for specs like noone else.

David struggles cycling (and sometimes walking) as suffers with Ankylosing Spondylitis, but was reluctant to drive the short distance to work. Always up for something a bit different or quirky, he bought his first adult scooter, though he quickly realised the small, hard-wheeled scooter was just not fit for purpose. He started researching other models and the rest is history. David has too many scooters to mention, but if he had to keep just one it would be one of his MIBO Revoos.

To date, David has completed 5 century rides (of 100 miles) and countless 'cycle' sportives including the London to Brighton Ride in 2021 where he raised over £1000 for JDRF charity.
